Simple Harmony Vocal Trio is a popular singing ensemble that is well known throughout western Ohio. Three voices blending in harmony, they sing a wide range of songs, including doo-wop, folk, pop, blues, jazz, musical theater and soulful ballads. Shows, concerts, corporate events--Simple Harmony has something in their repertoire for every occasion.
Simple Harmony Vocal Trio performs with piano or with piano, bass and drums and will travel up to a 100-mile radius.
Don't like what you hear on the radio? This vocal trio specializes in "oldies" music. Hear song favorites from the fabulous 40s to the groovy 60s to the sounds of today. Simple Harmony brings back songs made famous by the Mamas and Papas, Simon and Garfunkel, Judy Collins, the Beatles, the Beach Boys and many more. Hear them in concert as they present this year's show, entitled "Jukebox 45 RPM."
A music and vocal director for many years, Sherri chooses all the great music for Simple Harmony. Sherri toured with America's Youth In Concert, where her group had the opportunity to sing for the Pope at his summer home. She has sung with many concert and big bands throughout the area and has been very active in live theater.
Music has the unique ability to transcend all differences and speak to the heart and mind of the listener. With that belief in his heart, Tod has been performing for audiences for many years. Besides his talents as a tenor vocalist, he is an accomplished saxophonist and pianist and plays orchestral woodwinds. A consummate professional and musician, he has played and sung with several big bands and concert bands throughout his career.
Mary has been a performer for many years and was prominently featured in TV and radio promos for Pepsi-Cola while she lived in North Carolina. She has been active in live theater for many years and had many leading roles. She is well known for her singing with big bands, such as the Hal Harris Orchestra, The Hauer Swing Band, Frank Neville Orchestra and Swing Era Big Band. She regularly sings with civic bands in Sidney, Greenville, Columbus and others. Although she enjoys concert band work or singing jazz standards with her jazz group, Simple Harmony is her favorite ensemble with whom to perform.
